Wayne Gichie: Gichie has been studying Martial Arts for over 30 years. His mastery lies in Karate. Gichie has earned his 3rd dan black belt in Karate and a Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Although Karate is the foundation of Gichie’s craft, he blends other disciplines such as Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and Boxing to diversify his practice. Gichie has won several grand championships from 1991-1997 in the categories of Kumite, Kata's (martial arts) and Bō Weapons. On November 27, 1999 he was inducted into the Cosmopolitan Fifth Annual Florida Hall of Fame Martial Arts Brotherhood in recognition for his dedication to the martial arts industry and black belt assistant instructor Sensei of the year. Gichie’s most recent fitness endeavors is Yoga, Wellness (alternative medicine), Raw foodism and Veganism. Yoga, physically and spiritually enhances each movement as an individual athletic expression.
